An employee was trying to manually fit a side panel for a livestock trailer when his finger was pinched between the side panel sheets causing a 1 cm amputation of the employee's left middle fingertip.

Wilson Trailer Company

An employee was using a hand brake to bend material for an outside rail on a trailer repair job. The employee released the clamp lever to place the material between the brake's upper and lower jaws. The lever snapped back, catching the employee's left ring finger against the stop block on the back of the handle. The fingertip was amputated.

An employee was working to dislodge a small piece of wood that had become stuck in a wood molder. The employee's glove became entangled in the machine's cutter head and the employee suffered a partial amputation to a finger on the right hand.

The employee was hospitalized with crushing injuries to their ring finger and an amputation of the little fingertip, and they required surgery.

The hook detached from the underside of the pallet, causing the employee to fall backward off the lift gate. The employee landed on the concrete parking lot about 5 feet below, suffering fractures to the skull and two thoracic vertebrae.
