While getting up from a work station, an employee tripped over a personal bag that was sitting next to the work station. The employee fell to the floor and fractured the left hip.
A security guard was responding to a call regarding an aggressive patient in the emergency room. The patient punched the employee in their face and chest. The employee left the patient's room and then became unresponsive due to cardiac arrest.
