Final narrative
An employee was operating a banding machine and reached into the machine to remove a piece of wood. The platen that clamps the board closed on the employee's right index finger crushing the fingertip and fingernail.
A unit of wood was not advancing on a conveyor system. An employee cleaned a sensor and the system started moving, causing her right hand to be caught between the wood and the conveyor. She suffered a laceration, contusions, and swelling.
An employee was standing on the second level of pallet bay racking while removing shelving boards above him. As he moved, the boards he was standing on broke and he fell, breaking his left hip and bruising his upper left arm.
An employee was feeding boards into a door jamb machine when his left hand was caught and crushed in the machine's chain and sprocket. He was hospitalized.
