Employee 2 then went to use his bodyweight to keep the lift from falling. The lift fell and struck employee 2's leg causing a fracture. Employee 1 was in the lift basket when it impacted a staircase and he hit his head. He sustained several injuries including a head contusion, a broken pelvic bone, broken ribs, a spinal injury, and a lower extremity injury. Both employees were hospitalized.

An employee was cutting a piece of foam on a table saw when he lost his grip on the foam and his right hand struck the saw blade. The employee sustained a laceration.
