Employees were laying asphalt paving on a highway. The injured employee was walking beside the paver machine with his hand on top of the road widener extension. The extension was lowered and his finger was pinched between the machine and a steel guardrail along the side of the highway. As a result, the injured employee sustained an amputation of his right middle fingertip.

An employee was breaking down traffic control equipment on a county road. A car struck the employee, who suffered a right knee dislocation (with soft tissue involvement) and a lacerated left forearm, along with abrasions and other lacerations.

His right fifth finger was pinched between the roll cage and the rafter of the pavilion. The employee sustained a partial degloving injury with partial traumatic amputation.

An employee was working with paving equipment and heard a noise on the opposite side of the machine he was working on. When the machine stopped, the employee went to the opposite side and crouched down to investigate the noise. A mini track loader backed up and drove over the employee's leg. The employee sustained fractures to their lower leg, ankle, and foot.

After cutting a slab of beef short ribs, an employee turned to grab the pieces he had cut and his right hand contacted the saw blade. The employee sustained an amputation to his right index finger.
