An employee changed a former machine setting to make a smaller popcorn tin container and then energized the machine. He found that one of the tin sheets was jammed and was trying to unjam it when the machine was activated. His left hand was caught between the forming mechanism and the mandrel (forms the tin sheet to a cylinder), lacerating it and requiring hospitalization and surgery.

On May 15, 2020, an employee was carrying empty carboard boxes to place them in a metal crate used to transport the cardboard. After placing the cardboard on the metal crate, she turned to walk away and her pant leg became caught on a piece of metal wire sticking out about 1 inch from the crate's corner. The top of the bagger mezzanine was accessed using a rolling safety ladder that was welded in place. The employee was coming down the ladder carrying a a 5-gallon bucket when they slipped and fell to the floor, suffering a broken neck and right index finger.
