An employee was elevating a scissor lift while inside the lift's basket when one side of the scissor lift's guardrail system became caught on the guardrail system of an adjacent stationary lift. The scissor lift the employee was in then toppled over and fell to the ground. The employee sustained fractured ribs on the left side of his body.
