Final narrative
An employee was preparing to move a steel bar stock. As he stepped back to allow a second employee to grab the other end of the bar, he lost his footing and fell. The bar then landed on him, hitting his knee and shoulder. He suffered torn tendons, requiring hospitalization and surgery.
An employee was walking behind the store with another associate to get paperwork from the delivery driver when she fell on the walkway and sustained a leg fracture that required surgery.
