An employee was grabbing a bookbag out of a skid steer that another employee was operating when the bag strap became caught on the joystick. The skid steer then ran over him, fracturing his right leg, pelvis, ribs, and collarbone.

A concrete batch plant operator was assisting with clearing spoil piles using a skid steer. The skid steer backed into a stationary screen plant.
