An employee was attempting to adjust the core in a winder when his finger became caught between the core and the spindle arm. His right index fingertip was amputated.
An employee went to fix the paper at the wrap station that was not coming down normally. He went to pull the paper down and his right thumb was pulled into the roller of the machine, amputating the thumb tip.
