Final narrative
On May 16, 2018, an employee was cutting a piece of stainless steel on a shear in the maintenance shop when two of his left-hand fingertips were caught in the shear point. One finger lost a fingernail and some flesh, while the second lost flesh.
An employee lifted a door above a basket stacking machine. As the employee went to unlatch the door to lower it back down, the door dropped and struck the employee's left middle finger, resulting in an amputation above the knuckle.
