An employee was performing maintenance work on top of a pickle line tank with the lid off when he became very hot and had difficulty breathing due to heat or hydrochloric acid exposure. He was hospitalized.
On November 16, 2018, an employee was driving a forklift when it struck a crane "C" hook. The employee suffered broken vertebrae and chest injuries and was hospitalized.
