With a storm approaching, an employee was trying to secure an A-frame rack with parts on it. The wind blew a nearby metal shed toward the rack; the shed's door swung into the rack, pushing it into the employee's legs and causing a compound fracture of the right leg.

An employee was loading material into a brake press when the press activated, crushing their right arm. The employee sustained a compound fracture to the arm.

TRC Engineers, Inc.

An employee was inspecting a bridge repair project. A gas-powered, walk-behind pavement saw, being used 12 feet away from the employee lunged forward, cutting his left foot. The employee's fourth toe was amputated and he was hospitalized.

One employee fell and sustained fractures to their right foot and shin. The second employee suffered a broken back. Both employees required hospitalization.

The steel caster hit a crack in the concrete, the weld holding the caster onto the cart broke, and the coil and cart tipped over onto the employee. He was hospitalized with a laceration on his forehead and a pelvic fracture on his right side.
