Final narrative
An employee was using a jointer on a piece of polymer wall paneling when it hung up. The employee lost his footing and the sawblade amputated about a 1/4" of his right middle finger.
An employee left his vehicle and was walking to the office when he slipped on ice and fell. He was hospitalized with a dislocated and broken elbow, requiring surgery.
An employee was operating a strip saw. As the employee shut off the saw, their right index and middle fingertips were amputated by the blade before it came to a complete stop.
An employee was using a table saw to cut a piece of wood for wall framing. The wood jumped, causing the employee's hand to move toward the saw, amputating their left index finger and causing a laceration on their hand.
An employee was operating a trim saw. While trying to free a jammed board she had just cut, she came into contact with the running saw blade, which amputated her right thumb.

As they were performing post-maintenance activities after repairing one of the two discharge pumps, one of the discharge valves would not open. The employee closed the intake pump to cool off the system and open the discharge valve. Two employees opened the inlet valve to return the tank to service. After they cracked open the inlet valve, a side wall of the tank blew out, causing the injured employee to suffer steam burns to half their body.
An employee was testing and troubleshooting the gang cylinder valve located in the gang area of the sawmill. The employee's fingertip was amputated by the gang cylinder valve.
