An employee was using a hover mower when it slid forward on the dewy grass. He slid forward as well, and as he released the mower his left foot was caught in the bottom of the machine. His big toe and second toe were injured; the big toe was amputated.
An employee was trimming an oak tree on a golf course. A branch fell and swept the ladder from underneath him. The employee fell to the ground and sustained nine broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung.
