Final narrative
On 12/15/2018, at 10:00 a.m., a ski instructor at Breckenridge Ski Resort fell on difficult terrain while leading a ski class. The employee broke their lower left leg and was hospitalized for surgery.
An employee was trimming tree limbs from a bucket truck. The employee fell from the bucket to the ground 16 feet below, suffering a concussion and a broken rib.
An employee was using an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) to travel between the top and bottom of a mountain. On a trip downhill, the ATV struck a water bar and flipped over, causing the employee to fall to the ground. The employee suffered seven broken ribs and a broken left clavicle and was hospitalized.
An employee was standing in place and talking to guests while teaching a ski lesson when another skier struck the employee. The employee fell and experienced pain and inflammation of the discs in his back.
