An employee was troubleshooting and performing maintenance to the limit switch on a casting machine trough. The trough became energized causing the trough (and the attached chute) to turn over and strike the employee in the head/neck. The employee was then pulled under the trough. The employee suffered broken ribs, a broken chest plate and a punctured lung.
