Final narrative
An employee was moving masonry blocks when he dropped a block on his hand, pinching his fingertip. As a result, his fingertip was amputated.
On 04/21/16, at approximately 3:00 p.m., an employee was cutting a concrete pipe with a cut-off saw. The blade became stuck, and the guard that covers the blade struck the left side of the employee's face, fracturing the orbital bone and causing lacerations.
An employee brushing walls with a masonry brush near the northwest corner stairway attempted to step from a step ladder onto a scaffold resulting in a fall. The employee was admitted into the hospital with a collapsed lung.
