A temporary employee was unclearing a jam of product on an extrusion machine when the employee's hand was caught and injured between moving parts on the machine.
On December 13, 2022, an employee lifted a lid on a dump hopper and removed the magnetic grate. The employee was using a clipboard to push product on the sides of the hopper when the auger pulled in the clipboard and the employee's left hand, amputating two fingers and the thumb.
