An employee was standing on the side of a skid plate while waiting for a welding box to be delivered. A second employee was driving a golf cart to bring the first employee the welding box. The welding box fell onto the accelerator pedal while the driver was approaching the first employee. The golf cart then struck the first employee on the back of his right leg and pushed him onto the skid plate. He sustained a fractured leg.
