On March 9, 2020, an employee was walking in the parking lot at the hospital, going into work. The employee was struck on the side by a vehicle which caused her to fall and hit the ground forcibly, resulting in a fracture to the L3 vertebra.
An employee was walking with a patient when the patient tripped on a wheelchair scale. The employee tried to catch the patient and sustained a neck injury. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
