On April 17, 2025, at 1:40 p.m., an employee was returning from lunch when she fell while walking on a bluestone walkway on campus and struck her left elbow, left knee, and the left side of her head on the ground. The elbow injury required surgery.

An employee was working in an aerial work platform when he missed a step backward and experienced back pain.

An employee was exiting a building when they missed the last step and fell off the stairs onto the ground, resulting in an ankle fracture.

An employee was walking from their personal vehicle to the work location. While going down a grassy hill, the employee slipped on pine needles and sustained a fractured ankle.

While walking between buildings, an employee slipped on a patch of ice and fell. The back of the employee's head struck the ground, suffering a concussion.

An employee was driving a cart around the driving range to pick up golf balls. The vehicle struck an in-ground target causing the employee to strike his forehead on the windshield. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to their nose and cheekbone and lacerations to their head and hands.

An employee was operating a picker when it struck a stack of pallets. His body moved forward and he struck his face on the computer monitor in the vehicle, resulting in a concussion, laceration, and blurry vision.

An employee was driving a lift in reverse through an aisle while the lift was loaded with a headboard. The headboard caught merchandise in the aisle racks, causing it to shift and contact the employee's right leg. The employee suffered a broken leg.

An employee was driving a utility task vehicle (UTV) through the parking lot to the boat yard to meet a co-worker. The UTV and slid into a curb, causing it to flip on its side and land on the employee's leg, resulting in a broken leg.

On December 7, 2023, an employee was driving an order picker down an aisle when the mast of the vehicle struck a material pan that was hanging out of the rack. The pan fell and struck the employee, resulting in rib fractures and a spleen laceration.

An employee was removing boxes of filters from a skid when he tripped on a manual pallet jack. The employee fell and struck his back on the base of the pallet jack, resulting in hospitalization with fractured ribs.

An employee was walking through a parking garage. She tripped over a curb and fell forward onto her right knee, then her left knee, both hands, and her face. She suffered an injury to the left knee that required surgery, as well as scrapes on the chin and both palms and soreness in the left wrist.

An employee was using a hose to clear storm drains after a sewer backup. The employee fell backward and his head struck the curb, resulting in an Injury on the right side of his head, generalized bruising, and pain in his left ankle, right hip, left shoulder, and neck. The employee was hospitalized.

An employee was working on an exhaust fan on the roof when he tripped on a wire and fell to the ground. The employee sustained scrapes on his elbow, and a fractured right knee with a torn ACL. The employee was hospitalized.

An employee was replacing the back bracket on a deep fryer when her screwdriver slipped, causing her to fall forward into hot oil. She suffered burns on both arms up to the elbows (including the hands and fingers), as well as on the face and neck. She was hospitalized.

An employee tripped over a stool and fell on the floor, resulting in a left displaced mid-cervical femoral neck fracture.

An employee was installing fence posts when they stepped into a recently dug hole that was not visible due to rainfall. The employee's leg was fractured.

An employee assisted in cleaning material from a conveyor pit. After the pit was cleaned, the employee proceeded to replace metal safety plates to ensure other employees did not fall into the pit. While replacing one of the last plates, the employee mis-stepped and fell approximately 5 feet into the pit. The employee was hospitalized with back/side bruising, elbow bruising, bone bruises, and/or fractured ribs.

An employee was inspecting a breaker box and turning on/off a circuit breaker when he was electrocuted.

An employee was walking on the sidewalk. When they stepped off the curb, they fell to the ground, resulting in fractures to their tibia, fibula, and a metatarsal.
