An employee was moving two steel pipes from one run to another run using a rail car pipe truck. While transferring pipe, the east (right side) pipe struck a steel I-beam causing the pipe to jump the pipe truck retainer lip and the spigot end of the pipe struck the employee's foot. The employee suffered a partial amputation of the foot.
