An employee was vacuuming the inside of a used car when they sustained a lower back strain during the repetitive work, requiring hospitalization.

An employee was picking up a vehicle at a customer's address. While getting out of the vehicle on the hauler truck, he fell backward onto the street, injuring his shoulders, neck, and head. The employee was hospitalized for a potential seizure, potential concussion, torn bicep, and bruising.

On December 6, 2023, an employee of Duke Energy was working on a single-phase 120-/240-volt parallel service re-tap when a secondary flash occurred in an underground service. The employee suffered a second-degree burn to the face and was hospitalized.

The employee was hospitalized due to a broken right hip; broken ribs number three, five, and seven on the right side; a chest contusion; a laceration to the top of the head; and a concussion.
