An employee was building a shipment using a pneumatic nail gun when the nail hit a knot in the wood and ricocheted, going into his left knee area and resulting in an injury that required surgery and hospitalization.
An employee was preparing to cut some metal material with a chop saw (miter saw) with his right hand holding the material. The saw blade got caught on the material, causing it to raise and catch two of his fingers. His right index and middle fingertips were amputated.
