An employee was cleaning off a manure belt when the belt grabbed onto his hand, resulting in an amputation of the right arm above the elbow.
On October 21, 2023, at approximately 8:30 AM, an employee was performing repairs on a seal and filter cap assembly on an egg white filler tower to stop a leak. The piston was activated and the employee's right thumb tip was pinched between the filter cap and seal, resulting in a partial amputation.
