At 8:30 a.m. on December 23, 2021, an employee was unloading roof steel from a cradle, suspended from a telehandler boom. A cable became unhooked from the boom and the cradle opened up; the steel slid from the cradle, traveled about 6 feet down the roof, and pinned the employee against the chain on the lift truck. The employee suffered broken ribs and was hospitalized.
