As employee 1 was walking between a dump table and a backstop, a brake press operator (employee 2) actuated the machine's ejector. A pole half shell was ejected from the press and struck another half shell sitting on the dump table. The pole half shell struck employee 1, resulting in a right arm fracture, an abdominal contusion, and internal organ damage.
