An inoperable articulating lift was being pushed by a transport cart onto a flatbed trailer, with an employee in the cage steering the lift. The lift fell off the side of the trailer, and the employee suffered broken bones. Another employee was thrown into a wall in the same incident and suffered injuries but was not hospitalized.
