Final narrative
An employee was working on a filament winding machine when his finger became stuck in the fiberglass. He sustained a right middle finger amputation at the first digit.
An employee was operating a 40" rubber mill and clearing a jam when his gloved left hand was caught and pulled in between the rollers of the mill. All four fingers on the left hand were amputated. The employee was hospitalized for surgery. The machine was guarded at the time.
An employee was being trained to use a manual lathe when her hand was caught and pulled into the wrap, causing her to flip over the lathe and injuring her arm.
