Two temporary employees were working as valet attendants; one employee was driving and the other was waiting for the vehicle to be pulled around. The injured employee was struck by the vehicle and sustained an amputation to the right leg below the knee as well as trauma to the abdomen.
An employee was on a ladder changing a flange gasket on 16-inch water pipes. The pipes came together and caught the employee's left index fingertip, resulting in an amputation.
