An employee was using a forklift to move two flange fixtures that are used in a CNC machine. As the employee was adjusting the fixture so that it was flat on the ground, the fixture shifted on the guide rods, catching his finger between the top guide rod nut and top metal clamp bar. The employee sustained an amputation of the left little fingertip.
