An employee was attempting to remove a rubber blanket from an energized fuse cutout on a utility pole when they experienced an electrical shock.
An employee was using an aerial lift truck to work aloft on overhead powerline equipment. He taking a measurement on the bottom side of the cutouts when he made contact with the energized high side of a cutout. He suffered a third-degree burn to the right hand and was hospitalized.
An employee was installing a ground wire to a power transmission pole. The ground wire contacted an energized portion of a cut-out, causing an arc-flash. The employee was hospitalized with second degree burns to their chest and arms.
