An employee was unhooking a sugar cane trailer when their hand was pinched between the safety pin and the trailer's landing gear, resulting in a hand injury.
On 3/18/2016, two employees were changing a 1-3/4 inch screw for a mill support. While the first employee manually adjusted the nut on the screw, the second employee proceeded to adjust the screw with a pneumatic drill, injuring the first employee by crushing his right hand thumb between the nut and the mill support surface.
