An employee was feeding material through the water jet section of a roller machine during the retract process. The employee stepped backward away from the machine and his right hand slid into a gap resulting in amputations to one or more fingers.

An employee was removing the bolts of a calender roller. When the last bolt was removed, the roller fell and pinched the employee's finger against the bearing housing. The employee suffered an amputation to a finger.
An employee was checking a non-woven fabric machine when he dropped a pad between two rollers. As he attempted to retrieve the pad, his left hand was crushed and fractured between the moving rollers. The machine was unguarded at the time.
