On January 17, 2024, an employee loaded a trash cart onto the handles of a garbage truck. She pushed the automatic tipper lever to move the cart up into the truck when her arm got caught in the cart, pushing her into the hopper of the garbage truck. Her head was pinned between the garbage cart and the side of the truck. The employee suffered a laceration to the right side of the head.
