An employee was replacing a 3/4 inch ball valve in a baseboard heating system using a pipe freezing machine to isolate the system. After the line was frozen, the employee cut out the existing valve and water gushed out of the pipe at 180 degrees Fahrenheit, resulting in burns to their left index finger and knee.

An employee pulled out a bucket of hot oil from under the fryer. The employee then stood on the table to clean the back wall. He stepped down into the bucket of hot oil, resulting in third-degree burns to his left leg.
