Final narrative
An employee was walking and stepping down from a conveyor. He twisted his leg as he placed his foot down and fell to an adjacent grating surface approximately 27 inches below, resulting in a lower leg fracture that required surgery.
An employee was working to realign the two top sections of a set of collapsible rollers (trailer-on-flatcar rollers). The rollers suddenly fell into place and pinched her left index fingertip against the lower sections. She suffered a partial amputation to the fingertip.
At about 1:10 p.m. on August 11, 2025, an employee suffered central protrusions of the discs of their L5 through L1 vertebrae while lifting a 149-pound package. The employee was hospitalized, requiring surgery.
