On June 6, 2024 the temperature was 96 degrees, heat index of 101 degrees. An employee had been collecting waste cans and dumping them into the truck. The employee began to have chest pains and cramping. Around 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the employee could not continue to work due to heat exhaustion.
