A temporary employee was operating a standing powered pallet jack. She dropped off wooden pallets and began to back the pallet jack out. The pallet jack came toward her and the base pinned her right lower leg against a fixed object. The employee sustained fractures to the right ankle, tibia, and fibula, requiring surgical repair. The employee was hospitalized.
