At 9:45 a.m. on July 17, 2024, a group of employees was gathered outside a break room discussing their next jobs. A nearby cart's parking brake was released and it began to roll down the incline just as one of the employees took a step backward. It struck the employee's left foot, causing him to fall, and then rolled over his ankle and broke it.
