On September 3, 2024, at 2:00 a.m., an employee was helping to move two metal beams with a forklift when the beams moved in an upward position and the strap slid, crushing the injured employee's left little finger between the beams. The employee sustained an amputation of one quarter inch of their finger.

An employee was walking into the motor control center (MCC) room when his right ring finger was caught in the hinge of a doorway. He sustained an open phalanx fracture, which resulted in a partial amputation above the first knuckle.
