An employee was in an articulating boom lift that was fully extended at approximately 20 feet above the ground. The employee was using a chainsaw to cut a tree limb approximately 8 feet in length and 70 pounds in weight. He was holding the tree limb in one hand and operating the chainsaw with his other hand. Once he was done cutting, he put the chainsaw back in its sheath when the limb started to swing, causing the basket to fall forward. The employee fell with the lift basket and suffered four broken ribs.
