An employee was conducting jail cell window bar taps. They were closing one cell and opening the adjacent cell at the same time and sustained an electrical shock from an energized metal door.

An employee was serving food in the kitchen serving line. An apple fell while being served. The employee slipped on the apple and fell to the ground. The employee sustained fractures to their head and ankle requiring hospitalization.

Milestone Electric

An employee was brazing copper lines together on a new air conditioning unit close to an access point in a brick wall, The two wires ran horizontally and copper tubing ran vertically. The heat from the brazing heated up the copper tubing. A wire was touching the copper tubing, causing the wire jacket to melt. The wire infused itself to the copper tubing, which energized the copper pipe. The employee was using a wet towel to cool down the copper tubing when he was electrically shocked, resulting in hospitalization.

Constant Construction, LLC

On August 19, 2025, at approximately 3:30 PM, an employee was performing painting duties on a swing stage (lift) on the exterior of a building. While bringing the lift to the roof to drop off materials, he reached toward the edge of the building and contacted a metal plaque on the roof s edge, that was energized due to a frayed electrical wire. The employee was electrocuted and lost consciousness. The employee was hospitalized.

On July 29, 2025, an employee was troubleshooting and/or changing an emergency power connector on an aircraft. The employee experienced an electrical shock when an exterior electrical source was activated. The employee was hospitalized for electric shock and burns on their lower right arm.

On June 26, 2025, an employee was delivering mail on foot when he began to feel ill. The employee was hospitalized for heat exhaustion.

The injured employee was performing roofing work with a crew. A mop was being used to apply tar to the roof. Hot tar splashed onto the injured employee's left hand. The back of their hand was burned.
