[REDACTED] was working on a mold in the Mold Tech Department and felt a metal splinter in his right-hand ring finger. He removed the splinter and his finger was extremely sore and started to swell. The swelling continued to worsen. [REDACTED] went to the ER to have it evaluated after no improvement for days. He was seen by [REDACTED]. on [REDACTED] at [REDACTED]. No work was missed outside of the ER appointment. No metal was found in his finger. [REDACTED] was said to have Acute Paronychia of Finger. His finger was cleaned and drained. [REDACTED] was given an antibiotic to prevent further infection--Cefadrozil [REDACTED] (1 cap every 12 hours for 10 days). No follow-up needed unless issue worsens. Clear Spring Claim #C224-0372055
