On [REDACTED] Rural Carrier was delivering curbside boxes R025. Pulled up to [REDACTED] and there was a parked car in front of the mailbox and the mailbox had the flag up I parked behind the car to go deliver mail when i stepped out of the [REDACTED] first step on the edge of street partial lawn ground was eroded away my right foot landed half on the ground and instantly rolled my ankle and heard a pop.
