On [REDACTED] the employee was working their assigned delivery route. The employee delivered a package to a customer 's front door. After the employee placed the package on the front door the employee turned around to walk back to the cargo van. As the employee was walking back to the cargo van the customer opened their front door to retrieve the package and their dog ran out of the house and bit the employee on their right leg. The employee sustained a puncture on their right leg from the dog bite.
