The employee was discarding a 5.7 mil lite. While grasping the trim firmly against his palm he accidentally struck the doghouse hood while discarding with one hand in a rapid forceful motion. When the glass caught it kicked back and cut through the glove and caused a laceration on his right-hand palm.
