Before the incident

The injured employee (EE) was working as an extension jamb applier at the time of the injury The EE was working with a partner to complete the extension jamb application process on a threewide casement unit fitted with tempered glass The EE and their partner positioned themselves on either side of the unit to lift it from a cart to place it on the prep table to begin the process As the EE and their partner lifted the unit the EE states they felt a pain in the upper part of their stomach The EE recognized this and reported this to their group manager but did not want additional medical attention at that time After finishing the week and completing the weekend the EE is still experiencing issues and has requested evaluation
