What happened

Contract worker had a chemical exposure to her right eye with 100 bleach during an analyzer decontamination procedure. Worker was told to immediately start rinsing the eye with water she claimed both eye stations in lab were too warm at the clean sink for 10 minutes per SDS guidelines. Lab manager immediately notified Occ Health escorted worker to ED for care per worker 's request. No other exposures occurred during this incident. PHI unknown.
